I’ve created this page as a small archive for reflections, observations and photography. A big part of its purpose is exactly that — to be an archive.
When I thought about why this matters so much to me, I started thinking about how we once related to photographs. They were physical. We would sit together and flip through albums. There was more time for reflection, and more room to pause.
Today, we consume images in a completely different way. We swipe on after a few seconds, and most things disappear just as quickly as they appear. Sometimes I miss having a place where stories and photographs are given a little more time. Perhaps this is my small attempt to create just that.
A place with room to breathe. A place where stories are allowed to take up the space they need. And a place where my photographs don’t simply end up in a folder on my Mac.
If this resonates with you, you’re warmly welcome in.
